Cost optimization in Amazon Web Services cloud

Abstract

The topic of this paper is Amazon Web Services platform, as well as its services. They are grouped, depending on the type of service that they provide, into four main groups: Computing services, database services, storage services and networking services. One of the biggest challenges while using this platform is optimizing the costs that these services create. This paper goes through all the costs of these services, protocols on how to lower them and how that all works in real life scenario where optimized and unoptimized infrastructure is compared.
