Techniques for automation of data migration in the implementation and maintenance of ERP Systems
The topic of this paper is techniques related to the automation of data migration in integrated information systems. We explain the purpose of the integrated information systems at the beginning of the paper. The focus is then on the automated migration solutions and their implementation. Examples from a real environment are presented and explained in the central part of the paper. As an original contribution, we give various suggestions on performing data migration in the best possible way in the paper. These suggestions - explanations of tools and their functionalities - can help develop information systems. The paper aims to make it easier for readers to plan and implement the automation of their future migration processes by following these suggestions.
