PERFORMANSE ANALYSIS OF MULTICAST VPN PROTOCOLS IN SERVIS PROVIDER NETWORKS
This work shows performance measurement and comparative analysis of two multicast VPN (MVPN) models in virtual internet servis provider network. The virtual network is created using open-source Cisco router emulator Dynamips. Results are gathered using iperf benchmarking tool which measures following statistical data about each packet: bandwidth, delay jitter, number of lost packets, and number of out-of-order packets. Results gathered from the testings of the two MVPN models point to no significant differences in the quality of transmission of multicast traffic across servis provider backbone. IP packets are forwarded with similar efficiency in router data plane. Differences in encapsulation of multicast VPN traffic, multicast traffic signalization, and multicast distribution tree building protocols do not affect performance of multicast traffic transmission in routers, and are transparent to both service providers and their customers.
ALGORITHMS FOR SOLVING VARIABLE SIZED BIN PACKING PROBLEM
Bin packing problem belongs to the class of optimization problems, which has wide application in various fields, including packing, placement, etc. In this paper we describe several algorithms that solve variable sized Bin packing problem: Algorithm based on the Subset problem, Algorithm basd on the One-dimensional Bin packing problem and Genethic algorithm. Explanations and implementations are given. Also, we present the results of testing efficiency of algorithms.
CHEST X RAY ANALYZER
It is known fact that there are many different problems for which it is difficult to find formal algorithms to solve them. Some problems cannot be solved easily with traditional methods; some problems even do not have a solution yet. Problem of computer analyses of X-Ray images is one of them. Early detection of heart and lung diseases is possible with computer X-Ray image analysis which is time-consuming process and often requires several physician/specialist to finish analysis. In other hand we have constant grow of X-Ray images to process. All this define a need for software tool capable for quick image analyze and sort by medical problem definition and urgency. This paper suggests concept for X-Ray image processing based on neural networks and pattern recognition.
Comparison of Ontology Editor
In this paper some software tools related to Semantic web are considered and compared. In fact, five ontology-editors are described and compared. They are: Apollo, OntoStudio, Protégé, Swoop and TopBraid Composer Free Edition. The structure and basic features of these editors are described, as well as the way of their using. The main criterion for comparison of these editors was the convenience for user and possibility to apply in different kind of applications.
