THE MOST POPULAR JAVASCRIPT LIBRARIES

Abstract

The number of JavaScript libraries and technologies has risen due to the popularity of JavaScript language. It is not always easy to pick the right library that is worth the energy and effort. Most of them are open source, and that is the reason for their popularity, but also the reason for appearance of bad, unfinished libraries full of bugs. In this paperthe libraries repository statistics and survey resultsare shown. The best libraries, chosen by those results and statistics, are also compared, and their description is presented.

SYSTEM FOR CLOUD MANAGEMENT USING THE REST

Abstract

The aim of this paper is the presentation of the architecture of the cloud infrastructure management system that uses REST principles and REST API for a communication between distributed system modules. It explains the advantages and disadvantages of the presented systems and communication with the cloud platform in the example of CloudStack. Examples of application in the real world are given. The idea of this architecture is a result of the personal challenge to overcome conceptual mistakes which were encountered in the service offering during and after two years of development of a commercial cloud management platform that first author was working on.

ENHANCING USABILITY OF ANALITICAL SOLUTION BY EXPOSING KNIME MODEL AS A RESTFUL SERVICE

Abstract

The data analytics platform KNIME is available as an open-source software for end users. This workflow editor application is a workflow execution environment at the same time, which makes dissemination of workflows to end users somewhat impractical. We have therefore developed an approach aiming to expose KNIME workflows to end users through a customized user interface. Using PHP, we expose a KNIME model as a RESTful service and propose a way to integrate it with other web-based software.

A PROPOSAL FOR THE USE OF AMAZON WEB SERVICESFOR DEVELOPING A CLOUD BASED APPLICATION

Abstract

This paper proposes a cloud based service architecture based on AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform, for the construction of a web portal used for ratings and writing reviews. As an example in this paper, users of the portal give ratings to graphic novels. For the used AWS services, it is shown part of initialization and configuration, some are compared from techincal and financial standpoint to the services of other companies and also to the scenario of not using cloud but having own equipment.

CONVERGENCE TIME COMPARISON BETWEEN IS-IS AND OSPF ROUTING PROTOCOLS

Abstract

This paper analyzes convergence times of IS-IS and OSPF link-state routing protocols which are usually compared in the context of large Internet service provider networks. The paper shows test results done in controlled environment and simple topology with 5, 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 routes in the network with default configuration as well as for optimized configuration. Regardless of many common features that IS-IS and OSPF share as link-state protocols, IS-IS is still considered to be more suitable for large service provider networks. This paper focuses just on expected convergence times and on how that time changes in relationship to number of routes in the network.
